An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

Doing some cleaning and found my beautiful angels Dragon*Con badges. I can't believe I haven't been to a con in like 8 years. 😭 I miss her!
A basket of stickers and etc but most importantly I found four Dragon Con badges. One of them also has a Daniel Bryan clip on pin from Wrestlemania Axxess. It was promotion for something and there was a vote and they asked to take my picture. I don't remember why.

It hadn’t started with her. Aspen hit Meg first. Whopped her across the head real good with a ceramic deer that had been primed and painted pink. She wondered if they’d found it. Its legs folded underneath it, its eyes two empty, pink ovals that would never be filled with warm, dark eyes. Doe-eyes. Aspen was always telling Gladys she was doe-eyed. She called her eyes deep and dark and pretty. Before Aspen, Gladys thought of her eyes as black and empty. Not like Aspen’s eyes: glistening, deep, and green. They had blue in them, too; she noticed it when they took Aspen’s mother’s little red car all the way to the beach on their last snow day together. It was too cold, too damp, and they nearly froze. Still, it was worth it. To have Aspen unzip Gladys’ hoodie and turn into her chest, her slender fingers lightly tapping into her waist. Her hair smelled like lavender and when she looked up at Gladys, the winter-pale ocean made Aspen’s black hair more beautiful, the waves ebbing in and out of green and blue just like the love in Aspen’s eyes. Because Aspen did love her. Really, really. Even if just for that day, she did. Gladys felt it. You couldn’t say a thing like that to the police.
