Book-worm, Library-lover and Word-nerd. Peanut's human. She/Her.
Today at the library, I found this heartbreaking snapshot of family life in a kids Christmas book. I think the last line reads, "Do you miss Dad?"

Trying to grow heritage tomatoes for the first time (only grown cherry toms before). These are Ananas and I'm quite proud of myself.

Now I don't want to cast aspersions about the zookeeping staff here, but I'm pretty sure someone's been messing with the tigers.

My week is still not improving. Thanks Peanut for the vomit. You shouldn't have.

Acting the trendsetter today, wearing my cardigan as a wraparound skirt while I wait for my jeans to dry after a bird shat on them. I am having a terrible week.

Everything is terrible. Have a picture of my chunky cat. She is asking me for more dinner but she is too fat and the Irish vet nurse scares me.

Now this is a beautiful thing. Die-cut, velour covered, lovely heavy paper. Congrats Flux House books on the stunning presentation of Matt Kindt's Hairball. Not sure if I should be reading it this late at night though. #booksky

Just read Grim vol 3 by Phillips, Flaviano, Renzi. The weakest volume I'd say simply due to where we are in the overall plot (lots of introspection, not much action) but still excellent. Jess is really figuring herself out while hell goes to hell. Beautiful art throughout. 4.5 stars

This is Mrs Peanut. She will demand chicken at 10.30pm on the dot. Woe betide you if you do not deliver.

Here's hoping it's ready and framed by Christmas.
