Teams were hooting and chanting while riding in the Underpass. It took me a second because at the moment Niki & I went into it, a car backfired twice, which sounded like gunshots. Don't mind the gum chewing. NYC doesn't allow hydration packs and I was stuffed up, so mouth-breathing dries my throat.

This is 15 mi into a last big #BikeMSNYC training ride. Holy crap, I was NOT well at 22.5 mi, & finished 30. I almost bonked. Only 80°. Wrists pain. Bicep cramp. I had to stop 4x in the last 6 mi. Nutrition ✔️ Hydration ✔️ #MSSUCKS
