Popped into the Chicago History Museum today to see this exhibit. It's fantastic and I highly recommend it. It's much bigger than I thought so take more time than you think you'll need. I had no idea how many protests began in Chicago. I love this city. Chicago is just different.

Venmo'd you a little bit of money. An older cousin used to dig my name out of the hat during the gift exchange drawing so she could make me an A line skirt and cowel necked top for Christmas when I was in junior high. She made me these among many, many other things over the years.

Eddie Baur blue jeans. Only had them 3 years. The holes on the front are fine but when it rips next to the back pocket, it's time to let them go. They did spark joy.

You may as well join the gardens as a member so you can go everyday while you're here. You can tell I got my money's worth out of my membership this summer.

October reads. Combee was fascinating. 107 days was interesting but didn't have a whole lot of new information. If you like historic fiction, you'll like The Summer Guest. Cub Fan Mania was super nostalgic for me. I spent a lot of time in the bleachers in the '80s. #leftfieldsucks.
