One of the reasons she didn't break bigger in the States is because she didn't tour here due to her fear of flying. She was known to those who were already looking in her musical direction, but she didn't have the exposure her contemporaries did.

The 1970’s is when the American automobile market tanked, losing out to Japanese imports because they insisted on building gas guzzling tuna boats like the station wagon in question.
