Englehart's Joker Fish (directly adapted into a TAS episode!) and O'neil's Joker's Five Way Revenge are the ideal Joker characterizations. Doesn't get better than this.

My new takeaway from this re-read is that Tempo’s trauma response and personality shift is written similarly to how Whisper’s is. Not a knock or anything, just an interesting observation I made.
