Very funny that female Final Fantasy fans' enjoyment of FF is inversely proportional to the amount of female yapping in the FF game.
Interesting data but also I wonder what application does it actually serve in practice? Even despite FFXV's position there (where it's above FFIV, FFVI and would be above III and XVI), and it being THE bros on the road FF, it in actuality has the highest female playerbase out of any Final Fantasy

What Dispatch proves is that the western public is starved for the eroge. Rance could save them, if only they were brave enough to try.
It's cool how we keep proving over and over and over again that there's a significant market for narrative-heavy, character-driven, single-player experiences in video games and publishers just categorically refuse to believe us

Bloodlines 2 isn't *bad*, but it feels like a simulacrum of an ImSim. Like it's made by the people who have seen BL1 and Deus Ex and noticed that ImSims have hub worlds and side quests and dialogue options, but they don't understand why. So these features are in BL2, but not connected to anything.

Verso is the main villain of the Expedition 33, and the endings wouldn't have been a binary bad choice if Verso didn't get Gustave killed to hijack his place.

Solomorne sure is a guy who exists.
I kept him in my party the entire playthrough, and I can say with certainty - this guy exists.
Besides Arbites being a boring faction, and Solomorne is also just redundant.

I do wonder how many people would be calling Yrliet's storyline a "romance" up to Quetza Temer if it wasn't being called a romance by an achievement and internal tagging.

The customization in Bloodlines 2 is surreal. Why would anyone ever make it like this? Why can't you adjust the hair color? Why can't you combine makeup, scars, and glasses? Why can't you have a beard or a mustache?
