Furious at this. TERFs and Gender Critical people are a loud, radicalized, wealthy minority, forcing groups who've done the right thing for years into horrible positions that none of them want. Stop buying Harry Potter. Fight for your trans brothers and sisters. They'll come for you next.
i hope every single person who still buys harry potter merch or engages with that franchise is happy that they're literally making girl guides cry

girl guides uk have been forced very much against their will to exclude trans girls. full statement is here: www.girlguiding.org.uk/information-...

Get yourself a president who supports the trans community. 🏳️‍⚧️
@teni.bsky.social don't seem to use their bsky account so I'm posting this over here from their facebook because people should see it: one of the first things our new President Connolly did last week was write the community a letter for TDOR 🏳️‍⚧️

Dear #SpeirGorm

If you could kindly share, I would be most grateful.

Does anybody have first hand experience of the timescale when applying for #CORU #SocialCareWorker registration under Section 38 (Graduates/New Entrants) route.

Paul is an excellent and insightful interviewer. i wish I could attend all of these.
Here's a thread of things I will be doing in November, in case you have a deep desire to be in a big room that also contains me.
November 3 - I'm talking to director Charlie Shackleton (The Afterlight) about his new movie at @irishfilminstitute.bsky.social:

ZODIAC KILLER PROJECT + Q&A - Irish Film Institute
In this wholly original, self-aware film, the true crime boom is put under the microscope as filmmaker Charlie Shackleton (The Afterlight, 2021) tells the story of his abandoned documentary about the ...

I’m just a girl, standing in front of a national media, asking it to please please not hyperfocus on spoiled votes today.

Spoiled votes, like their voters, should be ignored. At best a footnote.

The Hampstead ponds have REPEATEDLY voted to include trans women. But the officious pricks at Sex Matters don’t care what other women think and are forcing a public consultation anyway. Throw the ponds some support.
🚨 Consultation survey launched on whether trans people should be able to access Hampstead Heath ladies' pond following Supreme Court ruling

The consultation is open until 12:00 on Tuesday 25th November 2025.

The same bs they're spewing about autism and tylenol is the same bs they're spewing about trans people's healthcare. It's the exact same playbook and the fact that the media can see through one and not the other is a damning indictment of how complicit they are in the attack on trans lives.

I will never forget how the fully fictional “concerns” of TERFs and billionaires about trans people have contributed to the rapid rise of fascism. There they are, egging it on, not listening to science, history, medicine, and individual experience, fiddling their own prejudices while society burns.

It's physically unsafe for people like me to go into the centre of our home city this Saturday on account of the colour of our skin.

Most politicians are either failing to stand up to this or actively contributing to the situation.

We don't owe any of those politicians our votes. Not one of them.
