ntlm.pw update: more hashes and more algorithms! I *know* you're all changing your password to Winter2025!, so I've added 16 million new passwords to welcome the new year :-)

All passwords containing something that looks like a year 2000-2024 was updated for 2025 - and there was a lot of them.
NTLM.PW - Hash to password lookup
Instantly look up NTLM hashes and resolve them to plaintext passwords using our database with 8B+ entries.

I don’t have a whole lot of advice for people younger than me but the earlier in life you stop worrying about what other people will think and just wholeheartedly enjoy the stuff you like the happier you’ll be
One thing people kind of tell you, but not really, about middle age:

One day you'll be like "oh [thing] looks fun but people will think I'm a loser" about a thing

And then you'll say. Wait a second.

Fuck 'em

The McDonald's app for Android is 32MB. That's 23 floppies - just absurd. Imagine how fast everything could run if just a little effort was put into it.
632mb of floppies.

Most wanted on my personal to-do list: prioritize short graphs by likelihood. All edges in Adalanche are probalistic, and now you can finally search by SHORTEST, LIKELY, LONGEST, UNLIKELY. Just committed, so expect bugs. Also the server side node layout finally looks okayish. Woohoo!

Liquor store clerk: I’m gonna need to see some age verification

Me: Prior to V.90 there were two incompatible standards for 56K modems. USRobotics pushed their own “X2”, while Lucent and Rockwell pushed the confusingly named “KFlex”

Liquor store clerk: enjoy your purchase.

My 10" homelab rack is coming along nicely. Two laser engraved acrylic sheets with cool stuff from @dustrial.net running 74 addressable LEDs each. Wife claims this does not look great in the living room?

It cannot be that Russia “accidently” violates three times in two weeks European air space.
Russia is testing European borders and probing our resolve.
It will continue to provoke as long as we allow it.

ICE threw me and other protestors to the ground on Friday because we dared to stand up for our neighbors. I’m okay, but our communities aren’t.

We can't afford apathy or inaction from our leaders right now. Abolishing ICE is a moral necessity.

I grew up on shock sites as looping video became economical to host, as well as LiveLeak and GWOT novelty. I recognize I probably have stunted emotional reaction to violent/gore content.

But I avoid it because I very much believe it is cognitively harmful long-term. It is not awareness. It is porn.

Adalanche searches works way better now - it uses BFS rather than DFS which gave unnecessary long paths at times. This is available in the latest commit on GitHub.

There might be bugs with the new search - let me know if you see any strangeness. Happy hunting :-)

I know I'm slow, but it has taken me ages to realize that a part of the fascination with Severance is the similarity to The Backrooms. The lit hallways just automatically makes you wonder - where are we, and what's around the corner? Brilliantly played.
