I've been told to not push on environmental issues as much as I do, that "people need a choice" but the truth is we have no choice but to take sharp action toward addressing environmental issues.
These fires are severely affecting our air quality, our water quality, and even access to energy.

Last night our city council unanimously voted in favor of a divestment policy that ensures our local tax dollars are not investing, and funding, in the war machine. I’m especially thankful for my inspiring colega, Daisy Lomeli, for helping lead this work.
