1: that cause of action is insane and I cannot think of an example where you get a private right of action by dint of govt office (maybe judges if they don’t get paid?). Immunity stripping likewise

Because a centrist Dem split the party after losing the primary and the vote in the largest city in the country. One would think a person who cares about splitting the party would maybe mention that was bad.

Yes, what I have been told is that after Reid retired, Schumer went to senators and said “Remember how he’d always try to push you towards hard votes? How much you hated it? I won’t do that, I’ll let you do what you want.” And that’s how he became majority leader and how he’s governed ever since.
That’s why they hated Harry Reid.

I was one of those 40% and then I had a heart attack out of the blue. Glad I had insurance to cover my $150,000 hospital stay and rehab afterwards.
