I wanted to try ikat dyeing where you kind of space dye yarn and then work it up so the dyed part overlays every row but I hate rectangles so I made it a "pi shawl"

I finished this new shawl which is really different from the techniques I usually use but looks just like everything else I make somehow lol

I'm glad I took a few before photos because I'm kind of starting from nothing here, if anything grows at all it will be a huge improvement (I took out the locust suckers already though I have enough locust trees)

these came out so beautiful like patinated copper, I wish I could use them like that somehow but they won't look anything like that when I comb them up
