Visiting the Blanton Museum today reminded me of what I love about the University of Texas. I needed this boost in advance of the 2025 legislative session.

Really enjoyed my conversation with Iris Jamahl Dunkle tonight about her new book, Riding Like the Wind: The Life of Sanora Babb. Babb wrote the dust bowl novel we should have read in school, which Steinbeck, er, ripped off.
