Ex GOP, ex evangelical, convinced Christian universalist, bereaved mom, married. I love Jesus. I hope you like books, birds, and cats as much as I do. God is love, and love wins.
He's a gorgeous kitty!

Not a thing. Not even groceries.

I don't enjoy doing it. I do the minimum, always keeping in mind that our Bad Cat will eat/break/destroy most things if he can reach them. But I do like the coziness once it's done.

Joy to the World is my favorite, esp. when viewed through the lens of the second Advent. Jesus is coming!

Least fav: Santa Baby or Baby It's Cold Outside. Ugh.

Ugh. I'm sorry.

Ha! I can relate. My hair dresser is a neighbor and friend who leans far right and conservative Baptist. I love her and she does a great job on my hair, but I always have to psych myself up for a haircut.

Me too. I wish. But I have things to do that cats never even have to think about!

He really can't!! Right now he's hurrying back and forth between my chair and my husband's chair to bop heads, over and over, as we try to drink our coffee. He has SO much energy. When he was a kitten, we thought he would outgrow it. That was almost six years ago....

Ooh, I didn't know there's a second season! I loved the first too, and I also loved the San Francisco setting 'cause I'm a California girl. 😊

Good morning. How much is that kitty in the window?
November 28, 2025 at 11:57 AM
I am so sorry on so many levels.

Sleep well. God is with you.

Now I'm in tears, reading his words. I have lost an adult child so I have a little knowledge of what he's going through. You never get over it.

God, be with her. And be with her family in their sorrow.
November 28, 2025 at 2:58 AM
And to you!

Yep. Butter goes from half-frozen to completely melted, instantly.

I have fond memories of taking our daughter to the Detroit TG parade when she was three or four. We froze, but it was fun!

You, too!!

We celebrated with kids/grandkids on Sunday. They don't like turkey so it was ribs, mac & cheese, etc. On Sunday, we'll have Old Fogies Thanksgiving with friends. Turkey, dressing, cranberries, mashed potatoes, the green bean casserole that the kids call disgusting, and pecan and apple pies.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. You live in a beautiful place!

Ha! Actually, he has been pretty good about the tree, so far. His big sister, however, keeps dragging the tree skirt away from the tree. It's soft, plush fabric, perfect for a kitty's nap. 😁

Ya think? 😂 Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
