Red Bull had Horner, Toto won't pay his drivers, Ferrari is wildly incompetent at all levels, Alpine's principal ordered Crash Gate, Aston continues to let Stroll drive, and VCARB is just spare parts. Not exactly shining management elsewhere in F1.

The McLaren management is still god awful. Their engineers are the best of the best. Zak and Andrea didn't build the car. Sure they hired good drivers, but they are still bad managers. Just so happens that every other team couldn't compete for the first third/half of the season.
