ok i took the train to and from work on thursday, friday and today, and i think otherwise i biked or walked places? anyway still nothing happened on any of my trips lol

friendship progress

on the way home there was someone playing loud music on a bluetooth speaker for a few stops (boo) and then someone smoking a cig (bigger boo) and then someone just kinda ranting again. i rly wish people wouldn’t smoke but the other stuff was annoying at worst!

yesterday i took the train to work & there was a medical incident requiring EMTs, but i’m really glad they were on transit and not driving when something happened! then there was a lady ranting for a stop or two but based on the TRIP agent reaction she’s a known quantity and harmless lol

also worth noting that i’ll complain to anyone who’ll listen about how silly owning a house is and how much i wish i could’ve gotten a townhome instead!!

last Wed i took the train to and from work and Sat i took it to downtown on my way to a bike event, and yesterday i rode the A Line basically end to end round trip and you’ll never guess—nothing happened!!

first one was driving in the 19th ave bikeway directly at me and didn’t seem to register my presence even when i flashed my light at them!! the next two almost left hooked me bc they were very much not on the lookout for bikes 🙂

honestly i see why only the bad stuff gets coverage even i’m bored already. saturday i took the B Line to the million rides event and it was so quick i only had time for 1 of the 2 phone tasks i wanted to do. today i took the train to work (biked home) and again nothing happened!

another one: i know parking a car can be much more annoying than a bike but i do wish securely locking a bike could be as easy as double clicking a fob

would also rly love satin lined caps/ear warmers made to fit under a helmet and a see-through stadium-compliant bag that can hook onto your bike & is also easy to carry on its own
