Indeed. We don't have any cultural, educational or political institutions. Or the best voting system in the world. We just look up to a family that wrangles animals that would rather be left alone. Or would benefit from decent environmental protection. Not kept in a zoo in the first place.

I remember when the public service ran most of our major services and infrastructure. It seemed to work for the benefit of the majority. Now profit driven, vested interests have taken basic services and it has cost the taxpayers much more than the public service ever did.

After watching Four Corners expose on gambling and the major companies headquartering in the NT, it just shows that the NT is like the wild west. Lack of accountability, legislation and a free pass for all for all the worst companies to invest there.

Watched Climate Towns video on greenwashing, and its been happening for decades. The fossil fuel industry can lie straight to your face when it comes to protecting their profits. At the expense of a liveable planet
