It’s wild how at a private company, I hit my anniversary which comes with a review and an annual wage increase (that doesn’t cover cost of living, but I digress) but I have to just be chill with the fact that I have to wait three weeks for said review and the increase won’t be retroactively applied.

Look, theatre is for everyone and I’m not a big ol fusty You Must Dress Up person but I do simply have to say that a fuzzy reindeer onesie with fucking sleigh bells is not goddamn appropriate as a grown ass adult, especially in a black box setting when you jingle every time you shift in your seat.

My new hero on this airplane is the guy who’s entire carry on is a mediumish sized clear tackle box (no dividers- a little bigger than a large shoebox) of trail mix.
And he’s just dumped the plane snacks into it- I think we’ve got some sort of snackle box-based perpetual stew situation going on.

I have the distinct displeasure of watching my hometown tear itself apart over the school board working to right-size the number of buildings in the district for the dwindling number of students. Lot of people unhappy because their alma mater's building will be closed and how could you do this?
