I think I never posted this to bluesky? The animatic for the Guards! Guards! fantrailer is a few years odl now (!!) but should hopefully be heading into animation in the new year!

To me, Clown Aesthetic is all about taking the familiar and turning it into a joke - and the familiar, in the context of this particular phase of Ankh-Morporkh is going to be Tudor/Elizabethan with hints of other elements

Basically I have come to the conclusion that the city would have two primary type of clowns (three if you count the drag kings but that's another conversation). The Buffoon and the Jester.

Turns out the best motivator I have for doing visual development is a) making my Documents and b) getting a little silly with it so I'm doing a series of silly Guards! Guards! illustrations to prepare for the Trailer Project
