Throughout the evening we heard from speakers who shared vital messages of support and solidarity, including: Older Dykes for Trans Rights, Lawmanity, Young Women's Movement and Zero Tolerance.

We also had an incredible performance by Will O' the Whisperer!

Collaboration, partnership and coalition are crucial, like that which has been seen throughout history.

Whilst there is a concerted effort to roll back the rights of LGBTQIA+ and other marginalised people in Scotland we stand with our partners across the wide equalities and human rights sector.

The context in which we are working is shifting, with increasing risk to LGBTQIA+ protections, inclusion and equality and human rights realisation.

There are strategies working counter to our hope for a more inclusive Scotland, ones that sow division.

You can access testing through your local health board, or through organisations like Terrence Higgins Trust and Waverley Care – who also run a trans-specific drop in with LGBTYS and LGBT Health and Wellbeing. 🏳️‍⚧️❤️

Today, people living w/ HIV lead long, healthy, full lives thanks to treatment that reduces their viral load to undetectable levels, which means it also can't be transmitted to partners.

Getting regularly tested & taking medications such as PrEP help to significantly reduce the transmission of HIV

People living with HIV/AIDS still face significant stigma and discrimination, even though our understanding and treatment of the illness has progressed significantly over the last 40 years.

Abortion law urgently needs modernisation, to protect & uphold the needs, health & rights of all pregnant people. Everyone deserves to access healthcare without the fear of persecution and have autonomy over what they do with their bodies - it's high time that abortion was decriminalised in Scotland
