Seems like the temporal filtering approach that is used in most other setups is exponential moving average based but that struggles a lot with low ray counts or needs to be tweaked in a way where it isn't very responsive so it's really interesting to see a different approach here!

How do you react to changing environments? I assume using the clear state but if you have moving lights for example that trigger the clear you get a lot of initial updates with not a lot of rays per probe if I understand the setup correctly. Are you doing anything special to handle those cases?

Finally watched the recording earlier, great presentation! Any chance you can provide some additional information on the temporal filtering you did for the probes & world cache? Especially the 64(or less) rays per probe seem like that number could be on the noisy side.
