Hello from Kea Point (Aoraki/Mt. Cook is not pictured but you can see Maukatua / Mt. Sefton). I haven’t seen ALL of Aotearoa / New Zealand since I landed on Thursday but I think Ive made a pretty good start.

I found it. I found the coolest place in the world.

I found the “Lobster Loos” in Wellington. (This is not just a toilet tour I promise)

Apparently I do not know how to travel solo without going into tour mode. Nine hours of driving today, 2 caves seen.

But the scenery on the drive was — literally — breathtaking. At one point I just screamed at a mountain for about 30 seconds because it was being rude (too beautiful for this world)

I won’t have time to get to Milford Sound on this trip, unfortunately.

i did not, it turns out, hit a home run. I somehow (after swinging at a pitch in the dirt) hit a ball about as hard as I’ve hit it all season (and it went straight to the left fielder)
