The enthusiasm with which we were told that they had a new Friday menu seems optimistic when we were presented with the ‘doesn’t require anything cooking’ list. Compared to the usual menu we were expecting.

On a wee weekend away to the north of the south. Decided to pop into The Deer Park Inn in Virginia as have heard lovely things about the food. Apparently they’re trialling a ‘new menu’ on a Friday. This ‘new menu’ clearly doesn’t require anything as fussy as an actual chef. Very disappointed.
