When we were first dating we’d stay up all night on work nights, going to work on three or four hours of sleep, and say we were “living on love”.

Now when we stay up that late it’s not a work night and we sleep until eleven to make up for it but we’re still living on love.

I get sad when I see sun dried tomatoes on examples of cringe "dated" food trends because it's got to be one of the best tomato innovations in tomato history.

The acclaimed writer Tom Stoppard has died, at 88. For the award-winning playwright, “art is a game within a game—the larger game being life itself,” Kenneth Tynan wrote, in 1977.

I saw a video of a lady doing a strawberry shortcake doll haul from an estate sale and one of the comments said, I vaguely remember them smelling like fruit. Vaguely? That’s their whole thing. And friendship, but mostly fruit.

Religion, overwhelmingly, is a masterful system of control! ‼️

It exploits trust, manipulates emotions, enforces conformity, and hides behind unverifiable authority, shaping minds & behaviour whilst stifling critical thought & personal freedom.

Religion, overwhelmingly, is a menace to society.

Looking into French vegetarian cooking. I think the trick is: varied root vegetables, broad/fava beans, mushrooms, garlic/onions, vegetable stock + white wine, and a bouquet of thyme/parsley/bay leaves and maybe rosemary. Serve with bread and wine.
