My students have done it again! Egyptology papers, camaraderie and plenty of doughnuts. What's not to like!?

Just back from a wonderful week at the NVIC in Cairo. Was it hot? Yes! Was it intense? Yes! Did we drink litres of homemade lemonade? Also yes!

Back from a workshop on intersectionality organised by Romane Betbeze from @humboldtuni.bsky.social It is always a pleasure to see like-minded colleagues who keep trying to push through and help people up the hatch. Thanks @urosmatic.bsky.social for the most amazing keynote!

Massive thanks to colleagues from the @griffithinstitute.bsky.social for an archive tour filled with wonderful things! My students loved every minute of it.

I took my lovely students on a trip to Oxford today and they went straight for the Middle Kingdom stelae at the Ashmolean. I wonder who they get this from 😇

Heading back home with a full heart after a couple of wonderful days in Seville. It was humbling to share the floor with the other speakers, I learned so much from every single one of them!
