Miller is just being a racist, but he's right that certain cultural mindsets can "at scale" persist over generations and be a pernicious strain on the society that they're embedded in. Unfortunately for him that applies to a huge swathe of the GOP base.

I absolutely despise the “inclusivity” arguments for genAI. There’s no such thing as someone who has a cool idea that‘s just limited by the barriers of skill. Art IS thinking through an idea, making creative choices, and executing it. Anyone who skips those steps is not making art.
All AI music does is devalue the work done by human artists. It’s not accessibility, it’s exploitation. We need real protections for artists against AI!
BTW — even if you had access to this AI startup as a child, you still wouldn’t know how to make music.

Words in a language have meaning based on whether they’re understood by the average speaker within a given speech community. “USian” doesn't pass the test.

What has helped me is realizing that he's also the antithesis of kings like David. The trial and crucifixion, when he affirms his kingship, is a near-perfect inversion of David and Bathsheba

My only strong opinion is that app betting should be nuked from orbit and the fortunes of its purveyors entirely wrecked.
My only strong opinion on sports betting is you should have to do it person, taxing individual bets is probably a good idea as well tbh.
