DevRel is me and Delba for Next. For docs, we just hired a new person Joseph.

The DevRel team has never been larger than 5 people over the years 🤔

I'm doing an AMA on /r/vercel, come hang out and ask questions!

Yeah I think something like this is closer, maybe too verbose

For example, Vercel has real-time usage visibility, spend limits and alerts, and Firewall rules to prevent unwanted traffic.

Want to have a fixed spend? Put a $10 spend limit.
Want to prevent unexpected spikes? Add a firewall rate limit.

This has gotten massively better in the past few years.

Are you referring to our Firewall challenges? Screenshot below for what it looks like.

It should only be automatically triggered when protecting your site from an attack, but it's possible something went wrong. Happy to take a look.

Perf is pretty good, even though it is a simple site!

I built a clone of the Yeezy store: nextzy.vercel.app

Built with @nextjs.org, @v0.dev, and @motion.dev.

Code is open source!

Need a database? Vercel now has first-party billing and integrations with 7 different providers (3 more coming soon 👀)

Just posted a new demo video with @supabase.com!

Wait... SQLite is coming to Node.js? I missed this.

Love to see this.

@nextjs.org customer incrementally migrated from Pages → App Router with 100,000 lines of code 🤯

"We didn't have to change any core logic of code; components and routes from a year back still work."

Built a smol demo of AWS DSQL (new Postgres database).

This is the proper way to review a PR, I will not elaborate further

Installing PWAs on iOS has gotten pretty nice.

• I can add the app to my home screen w/ an icon
• I can send push notifications
• On desktop, I display my app in a 3 column layout
• On mobile, each column is a tab in the bottom navbar

Built with @v0.dev — working on a new blog post!

If you've worked with ML / neural nets, would love early feedback. Shoot me a DM.

Two things I'm excited about at Vercel right now:

1. Saving developers $$$
2. Improved observability

Turn on in-function concurrency, redeploy, and save ~40-70% on usage.

Plus, more info on cold/hot starts, initial load performance, and more coming soon.

With a few tweaks, the design is actually really clean. Compact mode + removing unneeded things in the toolbar.

Devtools still leave room to be desired, but I might just use Chrome/Brave for that.

The canvas/artifacts/blocks style UI is really interesting.

We're still in the early innings of figuring out "AI-native" user interfaces.

This @nextjs.org template is open source if you wanna check it out!

Might as well just go straight to code with v0.dev
