I'm giving away this signed 1st edition h/b of my new novel (it has a tiny jacket rip which means I wouldn't sell it) to one person who reposts this.

You might like it if you like:
Folkloric creatures
Old records
Intricate psychedelic stories
The idea of circular time

All shares much-appreciated.

London is, and always will be, a place for everyone.

A city where people of all backgrounds live side-by-side, and where our differences are not just tolerated, but celebrated.

@london.gov.uk is a really good mayor. Not a perfect mayor. But most of us who actually live here think he is doing a good job and like the cut of his jib, which is why we keep voting for him. That’s the relatively unshocking non-attention-grabbing, truthful counterpoint to Trump’s total gubbins.

This is fascinating to watch. It's not that he's charismatic. It's that he's charismatic in a specifically social media way, on the social media equivalent of the Graham Norton Show. There's a proper lesson here - a highly superficial, but very effective comms lesson - which Labour will duly ignore.

The first time Charlie Chaplin used his voice in a film, he wielded it to forcefully condemn the rising forces of fascism around the globe.

Will we listen to his words today?

I made a book, a very tiny book.
On vintage paper with watercolour illustrations and a nonsense verse.
If anyone wants to publish it for me I would be overjoyed. This is just a rough to see how it works out

Handmaid’s Tale Series 6 episode 9 is a work of art. Still replaying each scene this morning after watching last night and relating back to the original text.
I look forward to anything else that Elizabeth Moss acts or directs.

Watch the slow motion: it appears to me that the officers discuss the photographer and reporter before the one on the end fires on them (it looks to me like he's aiming at the camera, not the reporter, but you decide)
