“Nope. Antithesis of fun,” the lawyer counters, though she likely /would/ be fun if she let herself.

Lestat sighs.

Christine pulls out paper-clipped stacks of papers and hands them to each person, including Daniel. ~

“What do you think?” he asks Daniel once he is settled inside.

Lestat watches with interest as Daniel explores.

That is what the vampire thinks and not for the first time. The mortal man approaches everything to do with being a vampire with wonder and curiosity.

And there is so very much of that. So many things to explore.
