Being a billionaire is the same psychosis as hoarding. If you replaced the billions of dollars with something else like dolls, or old newspapers, or toilet paper, it is easier to see how sick keeping mass quantities of something to yourself, that you can’t even use it all, is.

Every US military officer swears an oath when commissioned.

Saying the admiral was “thrown under the bus” makes him sound like a victim. He knowingly followed an illegal order. The SecDef gave it. Both are culpable. It highlights a leadership culture where illegal orders are willingly given and carried out, then laundered through public excuses.

The officers need to be held accountable for their actions. They knew better. In addition, Hegseth and his actions need to be investigated and, if found that he gave the orders, he too needs to be held to account. This whole situation is reprehensible.
