My books arrived! Everyone knows the American Avocet is the sexiest shorebirds and therefore he perfect cover model. I'm midway through ripping my deck out, but these are next on my list once I get tired of wielding a 42" wrecking bar.

Thought I lost mine at one point so I started to shop for them and then refound them. Now I've got some duplicates!

Stupid thing that made my home owner day: bought a lid for my outdoor trash can which means the darn thing finally won't fill with rain water. (Somehow I bought a house with two gargantuan trash totes, neither of which had a lid. And yes, you have to pay for your trash cans which are $100 a pop.)
