For about 50 years, he was a major influence in the GOP.
He might not have wanted a trump, but there's no denying that Cheney helped set the stage for one.

Dems need to -en masse and at every level of gov't- get out & volunteer at food pantries and similar organizations to help those who will suffer from this GOP-shutdown. They need to show they understand & then act. People will back & support them if they support people.
