My friend Alice @sfdirewolf.bsky.social died & I am gutted. Just a few days ago we were making plans to do an event in SF together. I’m too upset to say anything eloquent here, but she was my friend. I hope wherever she is, she still knows that love from me & so so many more than she could imagine.

When I was doing research for my forthcoming book, In Sickness and In Health, it was 2020 and I was having folks across the country send me photos of their homes and how they rigged things up for accessibility. The result is Disability at Home! (The whole site has image descriptions btw)
