Okay Chris, so, as I rested today, I listened to your @thespouterinn.bsky.social ep about Solaris, which i have not read, but I did read a Stanislav Lem or two at the time of this photo because my roommate, Sven, was obsessed w/ Lem.

for the record, i know that today my kid is at the movies with my other kids, and i am collapsed on the couch recovering from my second dose of the shingles vaccine (yay! but, oof, ouch). Thankfully am finally feeling well enough to watch Mad About The Boy.

The morning of her birth, I'd found a fave childhood album at library: Ronstadt's Simple Dreams. We played it over and over again that night and for days until it had to be returned, never to play again until Soph discovered it for herself at 17 (now the most LPs of any artist in her stack, easy).
