I had no idea that this film was gonna be the long-awaited fusion of Redline, Fable III, and Cars (2006) that I've been waiting for, but the Umamusume movie is a great piece of slow-burn depression and stunning animation masquerading as a commercial for a waifu game.

Vivziepop has been doing *numbers* for Christianity, because if Hell has this many annoying, unfunny twinks running around, then my ass needs to get redeemed and go to heaven NOW

A surprising, bold followup to Tear Along The Dotted Line, far more political and daring than its introspective, self-contained predecessor. Nuanced depictions of leftism, centrism, and the cruelties of fascism here, genuinely compelling stuff here.

Wenclair still isn't canon so Wednesday is still a bad show; that said, Season 2 fails spectacularly in ways Season 1 never did, all but dropping the mystique in favor of overwrought slapstick, convoluted lore, and what can best be described too many Tim Burton Moments.

It was almost a perfect adaptation, though I feel like some moments in the first third were adapted somewhat sloppily compared to their emotive, subtle manga counterparts. After the pool, however, the film fucks and never stops fucking. The peak of Chainsaw Man.

Feels like a filler arc in spite of the fact that it's the precursor to the finale. Not exactly overflowing with funny, cringey bangers like Twilight 1 and New Moon, but Eclipse is an enjoyably trash time all the same. Thank god for the teal filter's return

So this was all just an elaborate Oktoberfest-Ren Faire LARP, concocted solely for the purpose of gaslighting a tween into creating sarin gas roughly fifty fucking years before it was ever even discovered, let alone weaponized
Yknow it's... certainly different!
