I think the biggest mistake we as a society have made is repackaging Toxic Positivity as "Good Vibes Only".
I genuinely get so angry when people try to force me to cheer up for this reason now.

None of these people have any beliefs or morals when they can shut up people too mean about being abused and punished unfairly for it. Set your expectations low enough to expect any of them to call ICE on their neighbors for staring at them the wrong way. They're that petty and 'vibes' based.
