Cat loving hippy cabinet maker.
I was looking for a fine nit comb on Amazon for a cat that still has fleas despite treatment, there has to be something better than a bath, 700 sales in a month, 9 reviews, all people making sure everyone reading knew it was for their pets, the stigma with getting nits is still massive, even online.

I need to do the chores, but Zorro and Scoville, father and daughter, look so comfy.

To the person at work who stole my anti depressants, I hope you are happy now.

Just found a new company that does home food deliveries from the Netherlands, lots of things that i normally cannot find in my country, so far I have had 4 deliveries in 2 weeks as I restock my cupboards, i think i am getting addicted to food shopping online.

Soylent green is people. That Charlton Heston movie has a lot to answer for. soylent green = Soy and lentils. Not fucking humans, which from memory are rarely green when fed into a wood chipper.

2 years ago to the day I became a vegetarian, it was a huge missed steak.

Stuck on the sofa having a coffee, one of the wild cats is trying to sneak in to steal some food, food I put out expressly so he can steal it. He used to be a friendly house cat, but he prefers this weird pretense he is a wild predator who needs no one.

Spotify Wrapped said I listed to 16 hours of Enya, 16 hours? I don't ever remember listening to Enya once in the last 20 years.

Do you think it was the cats trying to fuck with my head?

Just realised it is 2 decades since I heard anyone use the word "yuppie" and then it was used ironically.

I cannot wait until I can say that about the word "woke" too.

I once swapped 400 paperback novels I knew I would never read again for a wheel of Stilton, it was a very nice Stilton.

The books have been breeding again and I need more cheese in my life.

Today, I put my car to bed.

Two years ago I started an experiment to see if I can live car free. I can. I have walked 1000 kilometers in that time, got fit and lost 25 kilos of weight.

So now the car has been properly retired, washed, and up on blocks with a protective cover over it.

In a rare moment of trying to be a responsible adult, I bought a linked smoke and CO alarm system, if one goes off, all 4 go off. So now guests at the other end of the house get woken up by an ear piercing noise every time I am burning breakfast.

I just had to rescue one of my cats, she was locked in the garage, I carry her in the house, put her down then settle on the sofa with a blanket to watch netflix. she jumps up for what I think is a cuddle.NOPE, she pisses on the blanket.

I hate cats some days.

Finally bought a hose for the pressure washer I bought used 4 years ago, 10 euro pressure washer, 90 euro to make it work. Sometimes I amaze myself at my bargain hunting skills.

In fairness, it is a nice yellow colour.

Now wait for some warm weather.

Black Friday week on Amazon, what excited me? Air pods? A new graphic card? A top? Nope, 4 euros off a big box of Eparsil for the septic tank and a spare part for the pressure washer.

Don't waste your youth peeps, as one day it will be banal too.

I've just had a genius idea for an invention, I listen to podcasts and audiobooks to send me off to sleep, but if I fall asleep it keeps in playing in my ear, which makes it impossible to find the spot I was at when I stopped listening.

So we need a device that monitors my sleep and pauses playing

It is pouring with rain outside and miserably cold, the cats are in, full of energy and bored out of their minds.

The destruction so far, a glass fruit bowl, a Heineken beer stein my dad bought on his honeymoon in 1966, and they are now working as a team to bring down my living room curtains.

Had trouble sleeping most of the night, and I have never felt more content, there is something reassuring and cozy listening to a wind and rain storm rage outside while I am curled up under a duvet with a cat purring at my elbow.
