GODDAMMIT. I fell so hard for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, I love its fanfickiness & silliness & the zinginess of the verbal sparring, not to mention the whole notion of two people just trying to find their purpose even as they realize that they're bit players in someone else's story

I’m a latecomer to the Iron Druid chronicles by @kevinhearne.bsky.social, & the first book was so much fun (a hot druid partnering with werewolves & a vampire? Be still, my heart). Plus I love seeing ancient gods & goddesses portrayed as the petty, vindictive assholes that they truly are #booksky

Science will often take you to unexpected and delightful places. In this study, researchers hypothesized that riders in a crowded subway car would be more likely to offer their seat to a pregnant person if there were someone in the subway car dressed as Batman 🧪🦇

The Twisted Ones by @tkingfisher.com is utterly creepy and horrific but also so, so delightful, which is what happens when a terrifying story includes a very good dog named Bongo who just wants to smell all the things (except for the very scary ones) and maybe also lick a possum

I met these Victoria crowned pigeons in Pittsburgh at the National Aviary, they are without a doubt the very fanciest pigeons I’ve ever seen irl

Same here! The pillows are very obviously NOT embroidered, but I haven't been this inspired about needlework since I found that online generator for scenes in the style of the Bayeux Tapestry htck.github.io/bayeux/#!/

I truly had no idea that goats DID NOT HAVE FRONT INCISORS and now I am shook

Totally! I've bought a few pairs of oversize pants from Shein for work and they're fantastic (I usually include "cotton" in searches to weed out weaksauce polyester junk). I'm still kicking myself for not buying these overalls when I had the chance, they're the most hilarious pants I've ever seen
