Councillor for College Ward in the City of Ottawa.
My final Townhall was this week and #collegeward showed how we can discuss our city priorities kindly and thoughtfully. Thank you to our 12 senior staff panelists (and chair of PWIC Tierney, thank you!) for offering expert insight but also some personal reflections.

Today, the Int'l Day for Persons with Disabilities, I wanted to share that the PXO at Centrepointe Drive has a new feature. Students at Sir Guy Carleton did a workshop with City Staff and improved the accessibility of the PXO by adding an extension for those who use mobility devices off the curb.

Zoning seems like such a dry subject, but it's one I hear from residents about a lot! If you ever have concerns about a new development in your neighbourhood, a new business opening, or issues like backyard parking, those are all Zoning By-law questions.

Very appreciative of my time with the Copeland Park Community Alliance at their AGM this week. The work this team has done to launch some very successful community events over the last couple of years is staggering. #collegeward is very lucky!

🧵 There’s been some attention on the City’s new “donation button”. It’s an idea we talked about last year and that we were supposed to get a report on before proceeding. Maybe I missed it...
