That's amazing. The fact that the teachers touch on the murders/nazi metal bands is good too. I like that they don't actually mention the bands for the readers, but urge critical thinking instead of just accepting rhetoric.

I love learning when I do crafts! I remember knitting and looking for patterns that had something new that I hadn't done, or something old in a different setting, which I could learn. I do miss knitting and learning a little. 🙈

That was me too. I know I read at least the first book in Norwegian as a teen but all I remembered was lady with a horse and sword and maybe something more calling her.
There was a lot more than my teenage brain was ready for in those books, I feel like. 😳

There's swords, there's several great horses, there's grit and love and nature and elves and aristocrats that need to get a fist in their face who does indeed get a fist to their face.

I just finished the deed of Paksenarrion which is very much a lady knight story, and she's ace (the story doesn't say those words, but she has zero interest in sex or even really romantic relationships), I loved it a lot. It had some moments that were harrowing to read, but well worth it to me!

I also left today without playing anything as my brain is not my friend, but we did our job and got the decorations we've been making the past few months up and looking good. This year's theme is revolution and so we made a picket line.

At your suggestion, I found a thing today that has helped soothe me before, a long jazz piano piece. It did help me navigate through the immediate crisis. I also decided to remove one stressor, giving myself more time for this evening's task. The first was self soothe, and the other improved the mo.
