Approximate timeline I use for Thanksgiving Day cooking. Adjust turkey start time if you spatchcocked!
I forgot to write down: after the turkey comes out and is "resting," pop any casseroles / baked stuffing into the oven.
I don't always use wine breaks, but that was the original recommendation. 😄

Thanksgiving Timeline.
9:00: veggie prep (chopping), prep potatoes and cover in water.
10:00: bread cubed and toasted.
10:30: pumpkin pie.
11:00: prep turkey and put in oven [later if spatchcocked].
12:00: wine break!, start bread in bread maker.
12:30: make casseroles and refrigerate, and stuffing (muffin tins?).
1:30: make mashed potatoes, warm in slow cooker.
2:15: gravy (add drippings later).
2:30: wine break!
3:00: set table.

Everything is terrible, but I did get to care for this baby squirrel for 10 days last month until she could get into a wildlife rehab, and now I will always have baby squirrel pix:

It's shocking to realize many of you avg-age-38 users of bsky will not remember the Fall of the Berlin Wall.
It's hard to describe how hopeful we felt. Like a worldwide sunrise. Finally we can start making things better!
The irony of what it's like in 2025 is just crushing. Wall-building times.

But it turns out for the counterpart ("I'm a mama kitty where is baby") Google will essentially tell you to look under the couch.
