Bar mobile games, it's Nelke and it's not even close. I enjoyed it for what it was when I first played it but revisiting it now... 😅 The game needed a bigger budget man

Probably the Golden Plains in Atelier Totori. I remember being stunned by the view when I first visited it. Meruru also has plenty of pretty locations like this and it makes me miss the fixed camera angles.

I'm at ch15 on Eirika's route in FE8 and it's insane how broken Seth is. At first I just used him as a regular Jagen (softening enemies up) but then I read how much EXP bosses give and how good his growths are and ever since he just solos everything.

I did enjoy Nelke when I first experienced it but its budget is very clearly reflected in its gameplay, and there's a lot of tedium in it. Also, when Nelke says this, she ain't joking: this game ain't easy. I actually failed the final population goal in my first run and had to restructure everything

Oh yeah and I also watched the movie and it was... inoffensive? I've seen ppl say it's an abomination but it really wasn't lol I found it alright, nothing special if not forgettable considering I didn't remember anything from it before rewatching it 🫠

I finished watching The Suite Life on Deck today! It was just as good as I remembered it. When reading online discussions I see ppl drag on Cody and Bailey's relationship and yeah, it's toxic, but I attribute that to them just being incompatible and not horrible people (the characters I mean)

A feature I greatly appreciate in FE8 is the overworld. The best part of it is being able to revisit shops from previous locations. That way I don't feel as stressed to buy the things I need in battle (and god forbid if you don't have a convoy), making it easier to outfit my units however I like

I've been waiting a long time for the next game: my Nelke replay! Nelke is actually the first Atelier game I completed, and back then I didn't know the majority of characters. Now that I've played through the series, I'm excited how the added experience will affect my experience!

Some neutral stuff: the first strike against monsters being QTE's were annoying at first but I eventually got used to it. Same goes to the gathering minigames (except the fishing minigame that one was good). The way you can reach new elevations was cool but it's very easy to get stuck in corners 🚶♂️

Positives first: I liked the QoL improvements they made to the minimap, the growth book and the alchemy. I like how deceptively complex the alchemy system is and how big of a role party members play in it. Also goes without saying but the combat was bomb lol

I finally finished Mana Khemia 2! 🥳 🎉 I would've finished it earlier but I had some trouble against the final boss... so I did some side stuff. I finished every request except against the Almighty Knight and skipped a handful of recipes. By the end I clocked at 64 hours 🤠
