@waller.bsky.social sorry I didn’t get to see you after speaker event. Hope things are good and look forward to catching up more soon.

Especially since we still owe the people a calf-off!

One of the most powerful thing someone can do as a leader is recognize that their goal is not to replicate their experience onto others. Instead you should strive to make it the experience you wish you had or even better. A true leader will grow people to a place far beyond their personal growth

Had such an amazing time at #connecttech as I always do.

@prpatel.dev & @mayers.io continue to be the best hosts.

Learned a lot, met many few people, and got to see a number of people I truly cherish spending time with.

Exciting to see speakers only promoting their Bluesky socials in presentations.

I know the shift has been made but it has been immediate and spread.

I'm currently seeking my next role as a Developer Advocate or Software Developer ( #JavaScript, #TypeScript, #Nodejs, #csharp, #SQL, #electron). I also welcome opportunities that leverage my illustration, graphic design, and musical abilities. Every connection helps! Thank you!

I have been fortunate to have been surrounded by phenomenal engineers over the years.

I continually strive to show up in the ways they did. I know I can never fill those shoes the same way.

Technical leadership is far too personal to make that my goal.

Being the best me is my goal

I've said this before but I'm saying it again: when you're looking at your job, you should have:

- Good pay
- Good culture
- Good growth opportunities

If you have 2/3, it's not too bad, but 0 or 1/3, you might want to question why you're still at that job.

How do y’all “celebrate” Veterans Day?

These past few months since the move have been pretty rough for me. It has not been related to the move but just handling all the work changes that have happened since.

It feels like I am starting to see the light (otherwise I probably wouldn’t even post about it)

I am most definitely an extrovert and get energy from being around others.

However I feel very introvert in that I don’t actually want to go anywhere.

It might be time for a rebrand.

I like “testing, tacos, tank tops” mainly for the alliteration.

However if I think about my primary focus it has always been “productivity, automation, wizards”

With my focus recently has been build systems, trying to focus and brand around that seems right.

All week I have talked about how I have not been writing documents.

Now as I am working on my Q1 review and pulled the pages I worked on I am clearly writing a lot.

What I see this as is I am not writing the right things as I am not seeing the outcome I expect.

I think it may finally be time to get properly diagnosed with adhd and start properly managing it.

It’s definitely the burnout talking but everything feels hard to do right now.

First cook of the season. D11 hours for some pulled pork and it came out pretty solid. It could have gone a little longer.
