this is the most liminal test video ive ever seen

"We'll assume that you have some content encoded correctly for the platform on which you'd like to use the MoviePlayer (e.g. a PSMF file with a video stream and one or more audio streams created with the tools from the PSP developer's kit ). "

interesting note about Battletoads being added to the NES NSO app.

it seems the Japanese publishing rights to the game have finally reverted to Microsoft, previously it was published by Masaya, which was acquired by "extreme" in 2014.
they were doing their own re-releases for it as recently as 2021

the wording suggests the Overworld theme was already complete actually, and Kondo remixed the track for the intro at the last minute
Punch-Out also used a song that likely WASN'T public domain (the Gillette march)

"it's just an arrangement of music used in the game"

while i don't think her portrayal in the series was 100% perfect (it ONLY discusses the tourney and not her work founding Interplay and developing numerous ports) i still stand by the doc as a whole being a decent intro to Gaming History

sadly, the production studio shut down a month after release

from the 2020 Netflix documentary series "High Score". Rebecca Ann Heineman discusses her stint at winning the Atari 2600 Space Invaders championship in 1980, the first tournament of it's kind.

as well as how video games helped her deal with gender dysphoria.

While it hasn’t been updated in a while, they managed to rescue a solid 𝘴𝘪𝘹 games from oblivion. Including enhanced versions of Old Konami arcade games

screenshots & box art of the unreleased "Warhammer 40,000: Dark Crusaders"

oddly the majority of images in the folder are mislabeled, actually being renders for the 1996 adventure game "9: The Last Resort"

wild update on this: not only does it NOT actually include the Mega Play versions of 1 & 2. MyArcade somehow added the wrong ROM for Sonic 3D Blast, using the "819" prototype of the game rather than the final build.

not the first time this has happened to SEGA, but still baffling.

this had the description of
"mystery revealed tomorrow @IGN"

hindsight probably made what this was more obvious, but it turned out to be The Evil Within. the first project from the i'll-fated Tango Gameworks.

Fallout fans immediately thought it was a new game in the series, which Pete Hines quickly clarified wasn't the case.

since it doesn't seem to be in the @divine.video archives, now seems like a good time to reshare the highly mysterious video teasers Bethesda uploaded to Vine back in April 2013.
