When I first got into MechWarrior: Dark Age, like 22 years ago, I really loved the Northwind Highlanders. Now that I'm back into Bettletech, I think I want to try to make a couple lances of them to play with when I'm feeling particularly nostalgic.

This is my first attempt at painting a bust. I got it last year to paint for my partner's birthday, but was stuck in a non-painting funk. I'm really happy that I finally finished it for her. I know I have more room for growth, but I think this is a great example of how far I've come as a hobbyist.

Worked on some Imperial Guard infantry last night. I am realizing that part of my problem with Minka Lesk's face is that it is completely devoid of detail as a sculpt. Which...was a choice GW made.
