No, it’s not ok to follow unlawful orders.
What about Trump's corrupt orders to DOJ to prosecute his enemies? Here it's complex, but there are scenarios in which these orders could be illegal. His lackeys might be breaking the law in carrying them out.

Correct answer.
CNN: What if there are more names connected to the Democratic Party that come out in the files?

CHRIS MURPHY: So what?

“And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything... Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything."
Nancy Mace: "You can see in the Epstein emails that he's clearly targeting President Trump as retribution for him being a good man ... he's a good man who protects women. That's what real men do."

Remember: the House is only forcing this Epstein Files vote because Donald Trump has been dodging this for months. He could release the files any time he wants, no vote needed.

Let’s just wait and see what obstruction he tries next to hide his connections to this creepy pedophile.

So why is Harvard allowing Larry Summers to continue teaching?

Trump could bring the Epstein files to his next press gaggle. But he’s not going to do that.
Or he’s engaged in sophistry. His DoJ’s vision of what Congress is “legally entitled” to is vanishingly small. He could turn that vanishingly small number of docs over and congressional Rs would declare his constitutional duty met.

Admitting that you interviewed a convicted felon and known liar without gathering and familiarizing yourself with critical evidence isn’t exactly a flex.

Hundreds of thousands of people, dead because of a decision made by the world's richest man
One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc

This week was the Trump regime taking loss after loss after loss. Just a steady stream of humiliation.

I don't have anything to add, I just wanted to remind you.

The note is pretty good evidence that the sandwich guy jurors carefully evaluated the legal merits of the DOJ’s case and weren’t collectively engaged in a nullification exercise.

it's time for journos to start asking Johnson meta questions

"Speaker, on 5 occasions last week you said 'I haven't seen it' when asked about news events w/big implications for public policy. Do you ever read the news, and do you agree it's problematic for the Speaker to be so woefully uninformed?"

I love the lighthearted excitement about maybe having a tornado.
A taste of spring in late October! Strengthening low pressure to our west Thursday may deliver strong or severe storms in the morning through early afternoon. Gusty winds 💨 main threat, but a tornado 🌪️ also possible. Details at cwg.live.

James Comey’s criminal indictment is part of a larger pattern of prosecutions where the DOJ has recently used its powers to retaliate against many of the President’s perceived political opponents. Today, we filed an amicus brief in Comey's case to connect these dots: 🔗 https://protdem.org/4qvfZX9

At least Cam has been to a Super Bowl.
Josh Allen now has the most games with a passing and rushing touchdown in NFL history (46). He passes, quite fittingly, Cam Newton for that record.

Reminder: We spent YEARS reading thousands and thousands of articles on the Tea Party and how it was a true expression of the American people's will, and it never mounted anything nearly as big as Saturday's No Kings rallies. [1/3]

And if it IS a legitimate case, Trump has jeopardized it with his public targeting of Bolton and other inappropriate conduct toward DOJ. That’s not the way to keep Americans safe.
Unlike the Comey and James indictments, which were bullshit on their face, this case looks real and substantial. We'll have to see the actual evidence before we can assess how it may come out.

But no matter how it comes out, it's still an outrage. Not so much because it was brought ...
Happening now: DOJ has charged John Bolton, a former national security adviser to President Donald Trump who became one of his fiercest critics, for his mishandling classified material.
