God that’s so frustrating. I did that for a while in Florida. I was on meds that required me to go in every three months. The trip wasn’t quite 4 hours but the ordeal took all day. I would love better bus networks everywhere, please.

That’s why I made the follow-up posts. It’s so hard to say things sarcastically when so many people in charge are actual children’s cartoon villains.

I’d rather everyone got both, but I think it’s become apparent people aren’t equipped to handle biological challenges because they don’t have the right philosophical foundation.

Is knowing things possible? How do I know things? How do I make decisions if I don’t know? What is fair? What is ethical?

Jeez! That’s so scary!

Also the idea of any demographic being disproportionately homeless is awful, but older women is kind of extra tragic in a way.

Good point. In all honesty, I typed it once I got on the bus.

That’s awful! I was really hoping we’d advance past that as a society. We’re all human, we all need sleep and nobody who owns a bed is going to be using those park benches after 11:00pm anyway!
December 6, 2025 at 4:51 AM
that’s what I assume happened anyway.
December 6, 2025 at 4:45 AM
That sounds rough. I’m so glad you were able to get a better situation!

What is true? How do we know things, if we even know anything at all? What should we do with what we know? The Krebs cycle and baking soda volcanoes are pointless without answering these questions.

Unfortunately, that’s not the case with the bus shelters on my route. I have a similar post from the summer about the same bus shelter and how hot it was.

And the stop I get off at used to have a bus shelter, then just a bench, and now it’s a bike rack.

Yuuuuup. At the root of it, it’s eugenics.
December 5, 2025 at 2:49 PM
That’s so lovely!
December 5, 2025 at 11:52 AM
Ugh I don't blame you. That sounds awful.

Everyone always forgets about the hyoids! What a great, creative solution!
December 5, 2025 at 3:41 AM
I am indeed. I'm at almost exactly the same latitude as Ottowa.
December 5, 2025 at 3:39 AM
My heart breaks for them.
December 5, 2025 at 3:22 AM
I am, but I'm mad that there are too many people who don't have a house to be in.
December 5, 2025 at 3:21 AM
😡
December 5, 2025 at 2:07 AM
Right? It’s cheaper to just be a society.
December 5, 2025 at 1:06 AM
Same here. I can’t imagine being the person who asked for them to be installed. Like actually how do they sleep at night?
December 5, 2025 at 1:05 AM
It cost money to take down the bus shelters. This was good old fashioned cruelty.
December 5, 2025 at 1:01 AM
Unacceptable. Gotta cover the ground with spikes.
December 5, 2025 at 12:59 AM
**and I think any human suffering is bad.
