It’s in grubby downtown office building. Such a joke. I was at an NPS alumni event in Austin a year or so ago and had to stifle a laugh when a guy explained he was a professor at the “university” of Austin while others nodded along like he was serious. Event also featured ex SEALS pitching AI so….

I wrote a pretty good article that I interviewed you for, nobody bought off on it.

Followed by the medicine ad where a dude walks around an oyster bed barefoot. And I feel like they are somehow linked.

He was the weird little E-4 nobody wanted to pull staff duty with. Endless “I could have been an officer” energy.

And Navy Captain is the equivalent of an Army Colonel, both ranks are incredibly hard to achieve. Hegseth was, at his highest rank a Major and not even a fully qualified one at that. A JV scrub who thought he deserved a starting spot on the varsity

Wait, I thought 187th had the market cornered on being God’s own very special regiment.

Nice stove! And you’ll love the real vent hood. We did a Vent-a-Hood in our remodel and it’s game changer.

Retired and separated are two very different things, especially for commissioned officers (like me) who retain their commission after retirement are subject to recall. For example Hegseth separated from the military, I don’t believe he is entitled to any retirement benefits.

My time to shine! A lot of the old ones are not calibrated correctly but will still give you a read. Local Hazmat team will have them too, and Hazmat guys love talking about their toys. And as long as you don’t lick the radium you’ll probably be fine. Probably.
