Just an everyday extraordinary ordinary person. Hearts season ticket holder. Currently living in Essex but shortly retiring early and returning to Scotland. #FTT #8647 and an avowed opponent of anything and anyone remotely right wing.
Well, going by her own words, she's just about to fuck off, then.

A less than subtle way to get you to go 1st class, so you go in their lounge for disappointing coffee, and get the platform info before the rest do.

Don't worry, you mind will still tell you you're 18, and you'll still go out and do daft things. It just takes longer to recover from them.

I thought Survivor Series was alright. Not good, but alright, watchable without being memorable. Yet if a fair part of my feed was to be believed, it was one of the worst PPV's ever.

There seems to be always a narrative that is initiated by a few, but then echoed by many without a thought.

$35,000 for front row Wrestlemania seats. 😬

Was throttled by Andy Cameron's ("Ally's Tartan Army") father when they passed each other at a Top Of The Pops taping, after he threatened Andy. I doubt the threat was even 1% serious but ye dinnae mess with a Glaswegian!

Eve Muirhead was my favourite but then I'm showing my Caledonian bias. It may have been "Team GB" but only Scotland have curling rinks here, only Scots are selected, so it really is "Team Scotland"!

The ads were better than the matches.

Attending live indie shows is a great evening's entertainment at affordable prices. Seeing Toni Storm at an ICW event in Glasgow was worth every penny, and a fraction of the cost of a WWE house show. I've also found that Triller has a host of decent indie circuit stuff.

It's amazing what a 15% poll rating can do to a government who up until now were quite happy to keep children in poverty.

Amazing how 15% poll ratings suddenly put into action what Laboùr point blank refused to do previously.

Starmer said before last year's election and after it Labour would refuse to take children out of poverty by scrapping the 2-child limit.

Doing the right thing only now due to poll ratings.

Was it Tim from Ruislip?

They could've at least called them Shang-a-Langs.

The caller on LBC whining that he won't be able to keep up on repayments of his £2.5m mansion, because disabled people recieve help with getting cars adjusted so they can drive, summed it up pretty nicely. Unfortunately the caller made the mistake of ringing James O'Brien, who duly eviscerated him.

One to fix it, one to pretend they're paying attention, and one to stand around looking bored.

Something like this reminds me of my mother, who passed on earlier this year. My niece and nephew (now well into their 20's) were squabbling, using their hometown Belfast profanities, in an Inverness supermarket. My mum turned to them and shouted sharply:

"WILL YOU TWO STOP FUCKING SWEARING!"

😆

Are you seriously describing the Starmer administration as left of centre or left wing? Calling Britain "an island of strangers"? Getting rid of pensioners winter fuel allowance, taken straight out of Theresa May's manifesto? Cutting benefits for the disabled? The polar opposite of the left.

"Don't you ever, don't you ever, stop being dandy, showing me you're handsome."

The same people who were encouraging the media to do just that because they didn't like the leader of their own party. If those bastards had bothered to support their own party and leader in 2017 instead of briefing against them, we'd have had May gone, and not Johnson's "handling" of Covid.

I can already tell you mine. Bill Forsyth's "That Sinking Feeling". Essentially the cast of Gregory's Girl, in a tale of a less than daring robbery, in the grim, dank and depressing Glasgow I knew and begrudgingly loved when I was visiting relatives in my youth!

I hope it sticks in their craw, as it reveals to a much wider audience what absolute scum these child poverty supporters are.

If it lifts just one child out of poverty, let alone half a million, it's worth every penny.
