Sega is both correct and incorrect on this.
They're correct in a way when said definitive version releases not long from the original.
Incorrect as it's because of how pushy they are with microtransactions and expensive DLC is the reason their sales drop and why people wait for the better version.

SEGA is correct. It's really not rocket science. People want a fully functioning product. Those who prefer physical media even more so. Offer the product people want. Be transparent in your communication. Everybody who doesn't do this rightfully loses sales.

I understand the first 3 Dragon Quest games were pretty short, but you lot didn't have to artificially raise the difficulty and make them a chore to get through just to make them feel longer.

I was kind of interested in Pokopia, but The Pokemon Company constantly trying to push this all digital thing with their merchandise down people's throats really kills the vibe.

Most of your games can easily fit on the 64 GB card.
If CDPR can get Cyberpunk 2077 with DLC and updates on a card, you 3 easily can get your games on them.

Nintendo wants to be DoesItPlay. They launched a website to check SW2 BC compatibility of SW1 games. Sadly, it completely ignores unpatched and offline playability. Blocked cards like Mario Wonder, Mario Kart or Mario Galaxy are listed as "Supported" and "consistent behavior".
